Builds a weighted, side-by-side comparison of the vendors you're actually considering - scored only on what you know about each, never a guess at their reputation.

What This Skill Does
Built around what matters to you
Weights the comparison by your own stated priorities, not a generic checklist.
Never guesses at reputation
Scores every option only on what you actually know about it, never outside "knowledge" of a named company.
Shows its work
Every score has a stated basis, so the result isn't a black box.
Flags what's missing
Marks any option you don't have enough on as "insufficient information" instead of a guessed score.
Calls out a fragile lead
States plainly when a close score or a data gap could flip the result.
Right-sized for real decisions
Works whether you're comparing two agencies or five platforms.
Best Used For
- Deciding between two or more agencies already in the running for the same engagement
- Comparing platform options against the priorities that actually matter to your team
- Weighing freelancer quotes on more than just price
- Making a vendor decision's basis visible to a partner or co-founder, not just a gut call
How It Works
Choosing between vendors usually comes down to whichever pitch was most recent, or whichever quote was cheapest - not a real comparison against what actually matters. There's a second trap too: reaching for what you think you "know" about a name-brand agency's reputation, which is exactly the kind of assumption that goes untested.
This skill takes the options you're weighing and the priorities you actually care about, then scores each option against those priorities using only what you supply - nothing about a vendor's name, reputation, or track record gets pulled from outside knowledge. Every criterion is weighted by what matters most to your decision, every score has a stated basis, and anything you don't have enough information on gets marked exactly that way rather than guessed at.
You walk away with a weighted, side-by-side matrix, a clear read on which option comes out ahead under your own stated priorities, and an honest flag on any near-tie or information gap that could change the outcome once it's filled in.

Common questions
No - it only scores what you tell it about that option. It won't reach for outside reputation or trained knowledge about a named company, since there's no way to verify that against your actual situation.
That's fine - any criterion you can't supply real detail on gets marked 'insufficient information' rather than guessed at, so the gap stays visible instead of hidden.
It shows which option scores highest under your own stated priorities - and says so plainly when the lead is narrow or a data gap could change it, instead of forcing a false-precision answer.
No - it assumes you've already identified the vendor options you're choosing between. That upstream hire-vs-vendor decision is a separate question.
